Friday, July 4, 2025**Celebrate Independence Day in the Capital of the First State!**
Join us on Friday, July 4, 2025, in beautiful downtown Dover for a festive Independence Day celebration! The Kent County Republicans will have a booth and participate in the parade. If you would like to volunteer, please email us at KCRCEA@gmail.com. We are looking for volunteers to hand out candy during the parade, assist at our booth, and distribute literature. The parade starts at 6 PM, followed by fireworks over Legislative Mall at approximately 9 PM.
In addition, the Smyrna-Clayton Parade begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by fireworks at 500 Duck Creek Parkway at 9 p.m. To participate in the parade, contact Skip Carrow at 302-632-2405 or skip4515@yahoo.com.
